Tool, Leather Punch, c. 1st-3rd Cent AD

Roman-era Small Bronze Tool, c. 1st-3rd Cent AD

Copper alloy; 64mm/2.5gm, green patina

Sellers Note/ The use of this small, square-shaped and very sharp tool is enigmatic. Most likely it was used to punch small holes in leather or heavy fabric prior to sewing or adding adornments.
