A Pair of Roman Wine Bowl Adornments, c. 1st-3rd Cent

Copper alloy; each at c. 50mm/60gm

Con/ unbroken, green patina and lots of residual original solder on the reverses.

These vine leaves would have been soldered to the sides of a large and ornately decorated bronze bowl used for mixing wine with water, then served to family and guests.
