Ave!

Roman-era Silvered Cabinet Pull, c. 1st -3rd cent AD

Copper alloy; 33mm/9.9gm - The yellowish metal seen atop this pull is heavy silvering and it was certainly in the home of wealthy Roman Provincial household.

Most likely this pull was attached to either the top or side of a small cabinet or drawer and was attched to the same via cotter pins. Yes, the Romans invented cotter pins!

Add this to your growing Roman funiture collection.
