Con/ Missing terminal, otherwise, As Cast, sharp brown and glossy patina, cleaned and waxed.

Description/ Openwork style with ornate designs on all four sides

Seller's note/ Medium-sized keys like this were used to to lock small cabinets and boxes containing precious items such as documents, perfume and unguents, to keep them safe from pilfering by their servants and slaves. A very scarce type and certainly collectible for key and lock collectors.
