Con/ As Cast; cleaned and waxed; superb patina

Seller's Note/ Upon arrival and before cleaning, I believed this was the head of a lion. NOT! It is certainly a dog, floppy ears, goofy tongue hanging out and a very curiously curled & pompadoured hair-do! Awe...too cute and utterly charming.

As seen in the photo, this sweet little dog's head was certainly attached to something but what is open to conjecture. Very rare, we've never seen anything like it.
