Con/ As Cast; jet black patina with orange earthen sand fill left deliberately in situ

Description/ A choice Luristan bronze figurine of a horned goat/ibex, standing on an integral square base with two holes to either side. Another hole through the body, all were meant to fasten the piece to a necklace, finial, or similar.

Seller's Note/ Ancient Luristan was located in the Zagros Mountains of western Iran or ancient Persia. Exactly how these charming figurines were attached, or strung, to one another is confusing, Look at the final photo...and you'll be confused too.
