A Visual Catalogue of Richard Hattatt's Ancient Brooches

Ave!

A Visual Catalogue of Richard Hattatt's Ancient Brooches

Soft back, 400 pages, last printing 2007

Richard Hattatt had a lifelong devotion to the study and collection of antiquities but his interest finally focued on brooches and he rapidly built an important collection. The lack of easily obtainable reference books prompted him to write his own.

Richard Hattatt died in 1997 and his collection was disbursed to to the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford and in the Devizes Museum, while others were sold privately and at auction.

This is the reference we use to ID all of our brooch and fibula sales. It's a true masterpiece that breaks down brooches from the iron age through the Roman and Byzantine eras, Celtic types, zoomorphic, and more. Each brooch is illustrated with a meticulous drawing.

This esoteric reference catalogue has been out of print since 2007 and we were fortunate to find just three.

NRC has now lowered the price for our Authentic Celtic/Roman/Byzantine Brooches and Fibulae to an unheard of $4.95 each - that's only a dollar more than you'd pay for one premium uncleaned coin. Are you kidding me?

With this catalog and our inexpensive brooches, you too, can grow your collection to stun and amaze your friends!
