Faustina was the beloved wife of Antoninus Pius whom, after her death in 141 AD, struck a long series of issues to commemorate her.

Con/ Some inclusions, otherwise, good Very Fine; perfectly centered with a particularly sensitive portrait; lush & glossy dark green and brown patina

Obv/ DIVA AVGVSTA FAVSTINA; draped bust r., with hair done in elegant waves

Rev/ PIET AVG SC; Flaming altar with doors closed.
