Con/ Very Fine; complete legends, well struck and centered on each side, superb glossy dark green patina.

Obv/ IMP CAES M AVR SEV ALEXANDER AVG; radiate and draped bust right.

Rev/ P M TR P VI COS II P P S-C; Emperor, in priestly vestments, standing left, holding patera above lighted altar in right hand, in left hand he holds a roll.

Seller's Note/ Okay, here's the deal with issue: RIC only lists this reverse as either a Sestertius or an As. Clearly the emperor is wearing a radiate crown which equals a dupondius!
