Seller's Note/ Diadumenian, son of Macrinus, was born Dec. 19, 208 AD, and was elevated to the rank of Caesar upon his father's accession. In May of 218, he was again elevated to the rank of Augustus. Unfortunately, just one month later, both Macrinus and Diadumenian were murdered by their own mutinous troops. If you do the math, poor little Diadumenian was only ten years old.
