Seller's Note/ St Blasius was the protector of the medieval city of Ragusa, modern day Dubrovnik, and his statues are found everywhere within the city walls. Our example is an excellent representative of the money that was struck and circulated in late 14th century. Ragusa city issues are highly desirable for any collector of medieval hammered silver coins, especially in this condition. Now offered at one half the price you'll find anywhere...if you can even find one!
