Con/ As Fabricated and engraved; sound and wearable

Description/ One piece cast and engraved bronze on an octagonal bezel. Large letter L and T with crosshatching, palm branch to right. 

Pollio suggests that such signet rings were not used as the owners initial, per se, but rather by a certain guild of merchants in Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Sadly, who such merchants were, and their products, has been lost to time.
