Pueblo Culture, Pottery Sherds, pre-1600, Shadowbox

For size reference, the shadowbox is 10 inches x 10 inches

The pottery sherds are from the Anasazi (cliff dwellers), Hopi, Navaho, and other Amerindian peoples from the USA Four Corners area; IE Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. Ground found by my mother who was always proud that she never carried a shovel and never considered herself as a 'pot hunter'. She believed that digging into graves was sacrilegious to the dead and I agree.

Seller's Note/ As noted above, these pottery sherds come from a variety of Amerindian sources and I could inform you as per each...but where would be the fun in that? This shadowbox is ready for display and suitable for wall-hanging. Excellent for research, teachers, collectors, and others who do not have ready access to such outside the USA.

From the Vada M Sandes Collection

FYI - NRC would be pleased to create similar shadowboxes for you; drop us a line and we'll do the rest!
