Iron; 20CM/46.3gm (8 inches/1.6oz)

Con/ Point broken or degraded, otherwise, As Cast. Annealed and conserved to prevent further rusting; cleaned and waxed for preservation. Beautiful red iron patina.

Seller's Note/ For Roman soldiers, Camp Knives/Daggers such as this were a 'must have' for multiple reasons as you may surmise...from cleaning their fingernails to skinning and fleshing animals for food.
