Copper alloy; 35 x 22 x 7mm/6.7gm

Con/ about As Cast; no bends, brown/green patina, cleaned not waxed.

Seller's Note/ This chape was at the end of a scabbard that probably held the type of short sword still in use at that time. Excellent for display and shadow-boxing.

Chapes are rather rare as this is only the fifth example we've presented over 20 years.
