Vespasian, Denarius, Priestly Implements reverse

Obv/ IMP CAES VESP AVGVST; laureate head right.

Rev/ AVGVR above, TRI POT below; four priestly implements: simpulum, aspergillum, jug and lituus.

Seller's Note/ RIC notes this obverse legend as "an unusual form".

Even more unusual is that it it is a Fourrée Denarius. Most likely the counterfeiters were official mint employees making some extra money on the side. A risky business, for sure.
