Ring, Medieval, Unisex with 'Fleur-de-Lis' Intaglio, ca 16th-17th Cent

Copper alloy; 1.6gm, Ring size 10 3/4  Bezel; 15mm!

Con/ As Fabricated in two parts; bezel and band; wearable, for sure

Description/ The round bezel was hand-stamped from a mold and band then soldered to the bezel; clear and crisp lily flower in the form of a potted plant.

Seller's Note/ The purity of the 'Fleur-de-Lis' or Lily Flower was, and still is, the symbol of the Virgin Mary. The lily flower motif was a very powerful and important image throughout the Medieval era.
