Con/ Missing pin, otherwise, As Fabricated; green patina, cleaned and waxed

Description/ Central shaft flanked by axe with engraved blade to right and scroll shape to right; below, pelta. Vestigial traces of original silvering.

Seller's Note/ Unlike the Hattatt example, which was a compression type (no spring needed), our example has a pin and spring closure, instead. First time listing such a brooch after 30+ years. Scarce? Rare? You tell me. :-)
