Ave!
Ring, Medieval Era, Unisex with 'Fleur-de-Lis' Intaglio, ca 16th-17th Cent
Copper alloy; 7.5gm, Ring size 9 3/4
Con/ As Fabricated; wearable, for sure
Description/ Engraved square bezel, clear and crisp lily flower, and further engravings about the band
Seller's Note/ The purity of the 'Fleur-de-Lis' or Lily Flower was, and still is, the symbol of the Virgin Mary. Due to the size and heft of this ring, we surmise it was worn by a man, and possibly as a signet to seal documents, letters, etc.
Here's the deal; as gnarly as this ring presently appears, all you need to do is constantly wear it every day, 24/7, you know? Rings were made to be worn, not tucked away. The longer this ring is worn the better it will look...trust me.
