Ring, Roman, Ladies, Carnelian Intaglio, ca. 1st - 3rd Cent AD

Copper alloy; 7.3gm, Ring size 3 3/4

Con/ Small chips top and bottom of the carnelian inset, otherwise, As Cast and Engraved; Certainly wearable, this delicate and charming ring needs a happy finger!

Description/ Roman god/goddess or personification, standing right, raising left arm and holding spear or scepter. Certainly of provincial origin, perhaps ancient Siscia or Mursa Major? Note the final photo to see "as arrived".
