Ave!
LRBC through Early Byzantine Issues, Desert Patinas!
Æ 3/4 through true and tiny Æ 4s!
While many of these coins are standard LRBC types, the bulk are later, including Emperors such as Arcadius, Gratian, Honorius, Theodosius, etc. As seen in the last photo, many of them feature reverses with three emperors, crosses and monograms that are rarely found on our normal uncleaned issues. Buyer Beware! If you do not enjoy cleaning small coins, these are not for you...just saying. :-)
Nearly all Desert Patina coins share one similarity; a black patina, as seen in the photo. Those with sand fill should be cleaned wet and the trick is not to remove all the fill; just enough to reveal portraits, legends and details. Those are the easy ones; other will be more challenging.
