Belt Mount, Propellor-type, Lily Flowers, ca. 4th Cent. AD

Copper alloy; 30mm/3.3gm

Con/ about As Cast; dark green patina with earthen fill, cleaned not waxed.

Description/ Round central boss engraved with concentric rings; ornamented with lily flowers at each point, classic two rivet holes with rust traces.

Seller's Note/ Over these many years we have presented any number of propellor-type belt mounts in one form or another, right? But this is certainly the only one we've ever seen with lily flower ornamentation.
