Seller's Note/ A rare pair barrel-shaped spheroidal scale weights used by the Romans to measure whatever needed to be priced by value weight. Of most interest, the 1/2 Unica features two pellets within an incuse rectangle and a horizontal line below the punt mark. Unlike steelyard scales, these weight were used in a more traditional scale with two pans. See the final photo.
