Premium Uncleaned Roman Coins from the Balkans

These easy-to-clean coins are terrific for beginners and experienced cleaners as well.

Nearly all of these coins are LRBC (Late Roman Bronze Coins) with sizes ranging from US quarters to dimes. As most of them are simply covered with soft dirt, we suggest distilled water soaks and hand-held cleaning tools.

Condition-wise, most should clean-up to anywhere from Fine to Very Fine+. Our experience with these is that at least 50% with have a sound green patina, so go slow!

While many will be common issues, others could be rather scarce or even rare. NRC has received reports from our friends of having found scarce emperors such as Dalmatius, Tacitus, Vetranio, etc. and even Celtic issues hiding beneath the surface dirt!
