Iron; 13CM/15.25gm (5 inches/ 0.53 oz)

Con/ Some lose of metal = degraded, otherwise, As Cast. Annealed and conserved to prevent further rusting; cleaned and waxed for preservation. Beautiful red iron patina.

Seller's Note/ For Roman soldiers, Camp Knives/Daggers such as this were a 'must have' for multiple reasons as you may surmise...from cleaning their fingernails to skinning and fleshing animals for food. This is a 'must have' for any serious Roman military collector and will look sweet in a Shadow Box!
