Silver Coin Spill, Hungary, 15th-16th Century

Silver; 28mm/9.9gm as entire

Seller's Notes/ As seen in the photo, these (9-10?) coins are fused either by simple dirt or ?. Ground found in the Northern Balkans, these are offered as a 'Medieval Curiosity', only. Yes, they can be separated, but we think they are much more interesting to Medieval Collectors as is. For further cleaning and to keep them altogether, it's just soft dirt; short soaks (15-30 minutes) in cool DW, remove and clean with a toothbrush, scalpel, common stainless steel dental pick...most likely a wooden toothpick would work just as well. Repeat until your happy. :-)
