Seller's Note/ Obsidian was rare in the Maya lowlands and not available except via trade. Their nearest resource for such was from the Valley of Mexico nearly 850 miles to the north. We have no explanation as to why this delightful tossed into the midden heap. Perhaps he was an apprentice and his master told him it was not up to standard? Either way, we'll never know.

Museum quality and extremely rare. If anyone wants to know the long story, let us know.
