Earring, Silver, c. 16th-17th Cent. AD

Silver alloy; 25mm (counting the silver loop) / 1.2.0gm.

Con/ the perimeter chipped off to the right, otherwise, as created

Seller's Note/ My goodness, what a curious earring. Upon arrival and before cleaning, I thought it was a small medieval coin, but as the reverse is blank, it is not. Rather it features a heraldic device? A lovely piece for ancient jewelry collectors!
