Bronze Age, Scythian Arrow, c. 7th-6th Cent BC
31 inches or 79 CM The shaft has not been treated with stain but could be improved by the adding the same; your choice.
Seller's Note/ This facsimile Scythian arrow is modern reproduction that exhibits exactly how such arrows were made nearly nearly 2,800 hundred years ago. Created solely for NRC by our colleague master smith and wood-worker friend, the copper alloy point is an original Scythian point.
As seen in the accompanying photos, such points were affixed with sinue, and then covered with pitch to keep them firmly in place. The same can be said for the feathers at the end of shaft.
This arrow will look great in your den, office, or Man Cave as a wall hanging!
