Bronze Age, Celtic 'Astragals', Shadow-boxed, c. 500-100 BC

Copper alloy; c. 45mm or less, all ten weigh 96gm

Con/ Some are broken, otherwise, as fabricated; cleaned and waxed, sewn onto a leather backing.

Seller's Note/ Late Bronze Age Celts; as seen in the photo, is is just a small representation of how the ancient Celts would have worn these on their belts. As noted above, just ten of these weigh 96gm. A complete belt would have had 100 or more = not quite 1 Kilo or nearly 2 pounds!

Shadow-boxed and perfect for display.
