Copper alloy & White metal; ca. 22mm/3.2gm

Con/ As fabricated with flower motif on both, wearable, cleaned and waxed

The silver smiths in the medieval city of Ragusa (Dubrovnik) began to produce these beads and buttons way back in the mid-1400s and still continue to this day. Dubrovnik-style beads caught on with other silver smiths throughout the Balkans and Eastern Europe and became very popular during medieval times. Sheri says that this could also serve as an earring (click here for another match) or look very cool on a charm bracelet.
