Ave!

Harness Adornment, Medieval, 14th-15th Cent

Copper Alloy; 58mm/19.7gm

Con/ One edge broken and a few minor bends, otherwise, As Fabricated; beautiful floral sunburst pattern.

Seller's Note/ We've all seen the movies with Knights in Shining Armor riding their stallions which were all tricked out with glistening decorations, right? Well, this is exactly the same type of adornment. Back in the day, the knight's squire would have kept this burnished, with a mix of sand and vinegar, and shining like gold. Very rare...even in this condition.
