Ave!

Belt Mount, Propellor-type?, ca. 4th Cent. AD

Copper alloy; 18mm/2.1gm

Con/ As Cast; unblemished green patina, one connector rivet intact, cleaned and waxed.

Description/ Round central boss flanked by wing shapes?

Ref/ A&L SL ???

Seller's Note/ The size and whimsical shape of this mount is moot. If it is a propellor-type belt mount, it was certainly never fixed to an adults belt. Perhaps it was fitted to the belt of a very young soldier's son?
