Ave!

Ring, Medieval, Men's, Huge with 'Fleur-de-Lis' Intaglio, ca 16th-17th Cent

Copper alloy; 9.1gm, Ring size 13 1/2! OMG!

Con/ Worn, otherwise, As Fabricated; wearable, for sure!

Description/ Engraved and raised round bezel, clear and crisp lily flower, and further engravings about the band; brassy patina green patina fill. Much better than seen in our photo, trust me!

Seller's Note/ Due to the size and heft of this truly impressive ring, we surmise it was worn by a man over a thin glove, and possibly as a signet to seal documents, letters, etc.

The purity of the 'Fleur-de-Lis' or Lily Flower was, and still is, the symbol of the Virgin Mary.
