Bell, Medieval, c. 16th-18th Cent, Sweet Chimes?

Copper alloy; 4 inches / 4.8oz

Con/ Plow damaged and missing clapper, otherwise, about As Cast (LOL!); green patina, cleaned not waxed.

Seller's Note/ Was this a cow bell? Most likely, as it was found in a farm field in the Balkans. But not necessarily as a bell this size could have been used for any number of purposes.

Anyway, this is rather scarce example for bell collectors as a display piece, but perhaps too heavy for a Christmas Tree decoration? Ha Ha! As noted above, the bell has not been waxed. Upon purchase, let us know if you'd prefer it waxed and we'll do that for you at no extra charge!
