Con/ As Cast and Engraved; wearable, near black patina

Description/ Constructed of one cast piece, then engraved with a cursive monogram of the letter R.

Seller's Note/ Such signet rings must have been quite costly back in the day as each was custom made for the wearer. As seen in the photo, this fellow's surname name began with an R and certainly was used for sealing wax impressions. But there's more! The really cool part is that the bezel has no upside down; it could be impressed any which way. Nice!
