Silver Plated copper alloy; 77mm/25.6gm

Con/ Slightly bent, otherwise, about As Fabricated; nearly 100% of original silver plate intact, residual traces of the iron striker beneath the bow.

Description/ Hound, wearing collar, tail curled, in full running stride.

Seller's Note/ Roman fire strikers are a dime a dozen, but our example is certainly not! Extremely rare in any condition, this particular striker had to been owned my a very wealthy man who could afford the price of a silver-plated fire striker!
