Ave!

Cilicia, Tarsos, Lion Attacking Bull obverse, Rare!

AR 1/3rd Stater; 15mm/3.4gm    Struck ca. 440-420 BC

Con/ Test cut on the reverse, otherwise, Very Fine; toned.

Obv/ Lion right, attacking bull crouching left.

Rev/ Grain ear in dotted square within incuse square.

Ref/ For prototype: cf. Müseler, Tarsos, Group 2, f–g; cf. Casabonne Type B2; cf. SNG BN 203.

Seller's Note/ What, you can't see the lion and bull on the obverse? You can blame that on the test cut which blurred it. In hand, the image is quite clear...sort of. LOL! Either way, this is a very rare example of this issue and seldom seen.
