Con/ A perfectly centered and sharply struck example of this rare issue with complete reverse legend. Earthen inclusions, otherwise, good Very Fine; dark green patina.

Obv/ Head of Tigranes the Younger to right, wearing five-pointed Armenian tiara decorated with a star and tied with a diadem.

Rev/ BAΣIΛEΩΣ TIΓPANOY / ΔH-MO; Horse grazing to right, preparing to roll over.

Seller's Note/  An important hybrid with an obverse die bearing the portrait of Tigranes the Younger combined with a reverse die intended for Tigranes II.
