Obv/ + EMMA-NOVHΛ (romanized Hebrew - God is with us); facing nimbate bust of Christ, wearing pallium and colobium, holding Gospels in both hands,Gospels ornamented with pellets, IC - XC (Greek abbreviation:= Jesus Christ) across field.

Rev/ IhSuS / XRISTuS / bASILEu / bASILE (Greek: Jesus Christ King of Kings) in four lines. Other reverse legends, as well!

Seller's Note/ The emperor's name and portrait are not part of the design on the Byzantine types referred to as anonymous follies. Instead of the earthly king, these coins depict Jesus Christ, King of Kings.
