Con/ Sharply struck with fresh dies and perfectly centered on a thick flan, glossy dark green patina with silver highlights, portrait of the empress in high relief and a very crisp reverse. Minor edge chip, otherwise, Good Very Fine.
Obv/ SALONINA AVG; diademed and draped bust right, set on crescent.
Rev/ FECVNDITAS AVG; Fecunditas standing left holding cornucopia, hand above the head of a child, before. E in right field.

Seller's Note/ Fecunditas was the Roman personification fertility and was generally associated with bearing Imperial heirs, and is thus depicted with children. In this case, the child is Saloninus, who later became co-emperor with his father, Gallienus.
