Mysterious Silver Roman Artifact!

Silver; 41mm/4.2gm   ca. 2nd-3rd Cent. AD?

Con/ As Cast flat and then shaped into a cylinder. Unbroken and cleaned with silver luster.

Ref/ Are you kidding me?

Seller's Note/ We have shared this artifact with several Roman era experts; a few theorized that it may have served as a shiny adornment when woven into a wealthy Roman lady's hair, while others surmised it may have been used as an "aglet" to wrap a cord of some sort. Who knows!
