I'd been keeping an eye on this guy for some time and was thrilled to see him designated "On Special." In hand, he looks even better than in the photo. The surface of this bronze effigy is slightly rough--but the facial features are remarkably sharp. Contrasted with other small figures and appliques offered at various sites, this Bacchus is finer, larger, and better preserved...at a lower price. I've had him for several months and not yet moved him to the shelf where my Roman glass is displayed: I too much enjoy having him on the end table beside me in the evening.
