True Premium coins are always a fun grab bag. You will get a variety of coins mostly antoninianus and reduced size follis in my experience. Sometimes you get a silver coin, I got a Philipus in my last purchase, and an Alexander Severus denarius a while before that. The coins will most often be in great shape even if they are solidly coated in mud, just be patient! As far as the As and Sestertius go, my experience is that they will be very worn and hard to read but, in my opinion, $6 for one of those is worth it. I would say that 7 of 8 coins will be good to great. BUY THE FIBERGLASS PENS.

It’s been a while since I’ve written a review here. I’ve been purchasing coins and supplies from NRC since 2015, and NRC is still #1 in quality and price by far among dozens of vendors I’ve tried. This recent lot of TP uncleaned coins had many nice surprises, including some very nicely silvered coins. Absolutely spectacular Constantine Campgate and Licinius Vot XX coins. Also included were a couple of nice larger Hadrian’s which I’ve yet to clean. I think there might be a denarius and a fouree denarius in the lot as well. Great coins and variety as always! True Premium Uncleaned Roman Coins Sold Out!

I ordered 5 TPU and 2 PU and was not disappointed! In the TPU, I received a near perfect fallen horseman, a silvered Aurelian antoninianus (sadly corroded on most of the reverse and part of his face.) A worn but scarce Carus antoninianus, a decently large GLORIA EXCERTIVS type and a really crusty barbarous imitation of Gallienus. As of the PU I received a VN MR commemortaive type, which was super corroded, so I couldn't see much of the reverse. I also got a smaller and more worn GLORIA EXCERTIVS type, but not complaining, as they both were better then anything you could get on Etsy or Ebay.
