If you're interested in ancient coins this is a great way to get started! After I got mine I was hooked! And if you know a history buff --- or someone even midly interested --- this makes a great gift! I've given them away as birthday and holiday presents and they ALWAYS create excitement and interest. I gave my wife one for her birthday last year and now she's cleaning, polishing and attributing her own along side me. (She likes finding early Christian symbols on Constantinian and late Roman coins.) I have two uncles who are Catholic priests and they'll each get one this year. (Maybe they can help me polish my Latin!)
