Just received another lot of these coins with a Theodora bonus!! so thanks Kevin. These are great value some clean up very well and most are easily attributed. If this lot are only half as good as the last they will still be a great buy.

Most still need to be cleaned. Found 1 rare campgate. Found 2 very nice gloria romanorum dragging captive, they didn't need much cleaning. So far no rusted or rotten coins. Most have nice green/dark green patina! I've purchased hundreds of roman coins from ebay sellers and these roman coins, average better quality!

The recent batch is very nice, Awesome I got a few Claudius II and a very nice Fel Temp Reparatio Fallen Horseman of Constantius Gallus as Caesar too. Hope to get more of these and some of those true Premium ones too when they are in stock.
2018-03-14Premium Uncleaned Coins from the Balkans Sold Out!
Of the ten uncleaned Roman coins from the Balkans were nine late empire coins of commonly found emperors and issues--Constantine, Constans, Probus, and Valens. As has been typical of my purchases from NRC, all of the coins cleaned up in VF condition, some with lovely patinas. With the nine was a large rather crusty coin that held a fine surprise--a Hadrian with Concord (I believe) on the reverse. Believing the coin to be silver, I cleaned too zealously and took off patina in two places. I could kick myself, but I'm very pleased with this find: A copper Hadrian in Good condition. Whether this coin found its way into the hoard by some strange circumstance, or by the hand of Kevin Sandes who wanted to add something special to the order--I am quite happy with this the most exciting reveal of an uncleaned coin in my several hunts.

Sort of a beginner at this (approx 2yrs). Compared to the coins bought on auction sites, dollar for dollar these are far better. You may get 1-2 clear coins on auction sites, high percentage of 50 coins I purchased were identifiable. Worth the price!
