Review of my latest purchase from NRC: True Premium Uncleaned Roman Coins I ordered 25 coins; after some preliminary cleaning all had details showing. The following is what I found so far: Domitian AS/ Sestertius; Antoninianus: Philip I fully silvered, Tacitus, Gallienus, Numerian; Maximinus II "FIL AVGG" rated scarce; several Licinius I "IOVI CONSERVATORI" types, one rated rare 2; Constantine I "SOLI INVICTO COMITI" rated rare 5; Crispus "VLPP" rated rare 4; Constantine II "VLPP" rated rare 4; Constantius Gallus "FELTEMPREPARATIO" with "LXXII" reverse rated scarce; and a Caracalla denarius, contemporary forgery. The rest includes more AS/ Sestertius types and more Constantinian types, haven't gotten far enough along with cleaning yet to identify them. Overall a good lot with a good mix of coins with quite a few rare items included. As usual customer service is excellent with fast shipping. Thanks Kevin!

One thing that never fails to disappoint me every time is TRUE PREMIUM! This lot contains a variety of coins from larger to smaller sizes, but all of them are VF with some cleaning. I will buy them again and again. Excellent!

After getting burned countless times on eBay, I decided to try these coins out. The description tells the truth! I'm definitely a beginner when it comes to cleaning ancient coins, but even with my amatuer skill set the coins I bought cleaned up amazingly. After an hour soak in DW it only took me thirty minutes to clean up my coin to a presentable condition using common dental tools. Don't waste your time buying from anywhere else, unless you enjoy getting slugs! I'll certainly be back to buy more.

I usually get a mix of the 3 types of uncleaned coins. These, for me, are almost always showing detail & clean up to a nice coin. Rarely "crusty" &, if so, not so bad I can't handle it with my amature skill set. Nice coins with some surprise gems. Better & cheaper than you're going to find elsewhere, unless your have some awesome hookup directly from Europe somewhere.

After cleaning 200 coins from eBay lots and only getting about 15 to 20 with some kind of detail on them and maybe 5 decent ones on both sides, its nice to get coins with nice detail on both sides; double the price of the lots I've been winning but it doesn't matter. After spending hundreds on cleaning supplies, whats the sense in buying nothing but slugs for 2 or 3 dollars each? Thank you!
