As was mention by Kevin, this product is intended as an alternative to the Gringgotts #3. It is also safer to handle! No problem with skin irritation from the dry powder, and heating is not required, just start with some mildly how water. It has the added advantage of leaving the harder forms of copper oxide, like copper carbonate [malachite], but the soft green sometimes associated with Bronze Disease will be dissolved. Also, as with the other products, you can make it to the strength you like, the recommend strength will work for most cases, but you may adjust the concentration to the strength you like. Bruce

Gringgott's Conservator's Mix

Gringgott's Conservator was developed as a replacement for the Gringgotts #3. It is safer to handle in the dry form, and works better. The nice thing about it, is that it works slowly, and you have time to work with the coin and stop the process where you want too, it is not "all or nothing". This is true of all the Gringgotts products, and they may be diluted or strengthened according to your own personal preferences, however, strengthening Conservator is not recommended. Bruce
