This stuff works like a charm. I used it to remove ugly disfiguring horn silver deposits from a Roman Republic quinarius to reveal that it was a nearly uncirculated and beautifully struck coin of great rarity. The quinarius, a 'junk' piece thrown into a group lot as filler, went in value from near zero to hundreds of dollars in a little over 2 hours. It was not 'overcleaned at all and is now quite appealing.
