Con/ Soft strike on the reverse, otherwise, about Very Fine. Bold legends on both sides and an excellent portrait of the aging emperor.

Rev/ LIBERTAS AVGVSTA S-C; Libertas standing facing with pileus (liberty cap), extending left hand.

Seller's Note/ Dear old Claudius had always been a firm believer in the Roman Republic, hence the rx on this coin. Sadly, no one else agreed with him.
